As we have been reading, The Crazy Man in class, we have been discussing some strong topics. Some of these topics include the death of a pet, racism, stereotyping, and civil rights. This book has a strong message of growth and acceptance, and we are discussing these ideas within class. If you think that your son or daughter would benefit in speaking about some of these topics further, to strengthen their understanding, I highly encourage you to ask them about the book and discuss it with them to help their personal comprehension of some of these complex areas.
